Iran, Syria hold Cultural week

Iran Cultural Week is currently underway in the Syrian city of Tartus to upgrade cultural ties between the two nations.

Iran's cultural attaché in Syria Mohammad Hadi Taskhiri said that the aim of holding such an occasion is to decentralize cultural activities from the capital and transferring them to other Syrian provinces.

On the sideline of the event, Iranian handicrafts and calligraphies as well as images from Iran’s progress are on public display.

Iran's cultural week was inaugurated onOctober 22 in Tartus, western Syria and will run for a week.
